A dupla Hugh Jackman e Lee Daniels j\u00e1 havia tentado conseguir financiamento para o filme ‘Selma’ h\u00e1 dois anos atr\u00e1s, mas falharam. Agora, eles finalmente conseguiram com que a Millennium Films abra\u00e7asse a produ\u00e7\u00e3o e o financiamento do projeto sobre a assinatura dos Direitos Civis, que est\u00e1 indo de vento em poupa.<\/p>\n

O filme vai contar a hist\u00f3ria de William Pepper – interpretado por Hugh Jackman -, o advogado que defendeu o assassino de Martin, James Earl Ray. Pepper afirmava que James n\u00e3o tinha cometido o crime\u2013 uma teoria na qual ele baseou em seu pr\u00f3prio livro.<\/p>\n

Recentemente, foi relatado que Robert De Niro estava a bordo do papel do governador de Alabama, George Wallace, mas at\u00e9 agora sua presen\u00e7a n\u00e3o foi confirmada.<\/p>\n
